Rockport is a city on the coast of Texas. Its home to long Rockport Beach with its fishing piers and rich birdlife. Rockport is known for its endless recreational possibilities and mild weather. The weather has been wonderful in the low to mid 70’s and sunny almost every day. Rockport is one of the 100 Best Small Art Towns of America, and recognized among the top retirements spots in the nation by America’s Best Places to retire.
We have a two month stay here and have a lot of places to visit and take in the beauty of this area. One of our favorite sites was Port Aransas on Mustang Island. We took the ferry numerous times to visit the Island and enjoy the beach and the eighteen miles of the island stretching from Corpus Christi to Port Aransas.
Our RV resort Reel Chill is a beautiful park with large RV sites and very spotless with activities daily. We met many neighbors from many states and Canada
