OUR LIFE OF ADVENTURE
Transitioning to full time
We bought the first RV in April 2017 and by September of that year we were already considering living full time. We love traveling and being “location independent.” At first it did seem like a scary thing to get rid of a “normal” home and sit there (as we just retired) and live on the road—and many people told us we were crazy—but once we officially made the leap, we never looked
back. We vacationed in two smaller class C RV’s before we purchased our now 43 ft. Class A Diesel pusher.
While some people pursue RV living to save money, that wasn’t a focus for us. Our motivation was to achieve a lifestyle with more freedom and flexibility. So we sold our home in Wisconsin and pared down to just the essentials. Our two labs Shale and Shadow are taking this adventure with us and enjoy every new location.
Since we traveled and lived overseas we had the opportunity to visit many countries in Asia.Over the last twenty years we visited many countries in different parts of the world such as Asia, Africa, Europe and Mideast. Now we can experience our beautiful USA.
