]]> Lake Tahoe has rocky coves, shady forested areas and panoramic lake views. We enjoyed our drive there and the beauty that surrounded us. Lake Tahoe is the largest freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada and the largest alpine lake in North America. The deepest part of the lake is 1,645 feet making it second-deepest in the US after Crater Lake in Oregon.
